GOLF INFORMATION SHEET (revised 4/29/24)

Tryouts for the fall 2024 boys’ golf team will be held over two days:
August 1st (9:01am) & 2nd (9:40am) (at Rolling Meadows GC)

Please arrive ½ hour early to sign in and warm up.
Pull carts/range finders are allowed.
Each golfer will play 18 holes each day and after two days I will determine
which golfers make the team (usually 8-10 players, but maybe more
depending on how many tryout, etc.).

All necessary forms need to be completed on Final Forms:
( https://dublin-oh.finalforms.com/ ) OHSAA health physical forms need to be
completed by 8/1/24.

Each golfer will be responsible for his own green fees and should bring his
own clubs, golf balls, and money for food/drink. We will play if it rains (not
lightning) so umbrellas are recommended.

USGA rules will be followed with the exception of double par score limit,
yellow tees, and OB/lost balls played as a lateral penalty.

Players will keep other players’ scores. Parents are allowed to observe, help
find golf balls, but not advise/assist the golfers.

I will notify everyone of the results on Friday night by 9pm. Our first practice
will be Monday, 8/5 at 4:00pm at SportsOhio.

The 2024 season runs through the months of August and September.
Weekday matches are usually twice a week (Mon-Thurs).

Practices (at SportsOhio) will be held at 4pm on the other days of the week. (exc. Fridays)
